Your activity within Hero is logged to local "log" files that are stored in the Hero User directory on your computer. These files are very useful for Hero Support staff to assist in identifying issues and resolving them and should attached to most Support Requests.
To quickly access the Hero User directory, inside Hero you can go to the File
menu → Open User Folder
in Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) or using the keyboard shortcut ⌨ Ctrl + Shift + E
Your log directory will contain a range of .XML files that can then be uploaded or attached to Hero Support requests.

Accessing the log files from file explorer
The log directory is typically located at the below folder for Windows and Mac:
Windows: "C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Local\Hero Software\logs" - you may need to turn on "Show hidden folders/files" option in the View menu of Windows Explore
Mac: "username/Library/Application Support/Hero Software/logs"
