modelling a sandwich panel roof
I'm looking for some assistance modelling an Arcpanel (or equivalent) roof in Hero.
it feels like it should be a simple thing to do, but i'm not seeing it!
Any comment woudl be greatly appreciated.
thanks, Emily

Hi Emily,
Sorry for the delay in replying to this.
In regards to sandwich panels, you can generally type directly in the Roof Insulation column "0" to represent no roof insulation which will create a "No Insulation" option that you can then use for this assembly type,
Hope that helps,
Regards
Nick
Could you please elaborate on this? I am similarly looking to model Bondor Solarspan which has an R4.85 option. For my walls (Sipform -- fibre cement SIP) I was able to create a custom wall assemble with 2x fibre cement sheets and EPS core in the middle. But I can't see any way to modify or create custom roof assemblies. I can't see where to type in "0" in the roof insulation column. I can only find the "External Ceiling" section in the Summary window which doesn't let me type anything and doesn't have any options for SIP style roofs. I can select "no insulation" in the "ceiling insulation" drop down, but then I don't appear to have any suitable choices under "roof insulation". I'm using the macOS version of Hero, if that makes any difference.
Hi Tai Lee,
You would need to do this in the Ceiling Data-grid roof-insulation column cell, we need to add that capability to summary view,

Nick
